The GX-6000 Benzene Multi-Gas Monitor with the PID HI includes the 4-gas sensors and is able to have two PID sensors functioning at the same time. The 10.0 eV PID sensor allows the detection of the BTEX family of VOCs (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene) with a range of 0 – 100 ppm and a library of over 300 VOCs. By using the PID pre-filter tubes and the filter tube holder, the GX-6000 can monitor for benzene at a range of 0.01 – 50 ppm by filtering out other VOCs with the help of PID pre-filter tubes and a filter tube holderThe key feature that makes the GX-6000 different from similar models is that it is the only monitor on the market with the ability to have two PID sensors functioning in one instrument. Applications include gas and oil refining, rubber and tire manufacturing, coke and coal mining, chemical manufacturing, fuel storage and tank farms, hazmat response teams, etc.
