RAE Systems Lamp Cleaning Kit w/ Methanol 081-0002-000

RAE Systems Photo Ionization Detectors (PIDs) have multiple steps with their filter installation to ensure that only clean air samples are drawn across the PID sensor and lamp. However, if the reading is becoming inaccurate even after calibration, or if the reading is becoming very sensitive to moisture in the air, or if a chemical liquid has been sucked into the unit, it may be necessary to clean the sensor and lamp. The RAE Systems Lamp Cleaning Kit includes lint free tissues, cotton tipped applicators, latex finger cots, and GC grade methanol cleaning solvent.

Caution: Never touch the sensor electrodes or lamp window with fingers or anything that may leave a film. Use only GC grade methanol as a cleaning solvent.
