Fend-All Pure Flow 1000 Eye Wash Station
Spacious, sturdy area provides ample room for head and arms. A cover keeps dirt and trash from collecting in the basin and nozzle, and has a provision for locking the device. Upon activation, the dust cover rotates downward, exposing the nozzles and collection basin. An expiration date is displayed on the pull strap and a "Service Immediately"; warning appears when the delivery module has been emptied. Both features enable the unit to be checked without disturbing or disassembling the system.
The Eyesaline Solution for the Pure Flow 1000 is contained in replaceable delivery modules that remain sealed until activated. When a cartridge change is required, after 2 years, doing so takes less than five minutes.
Note: The unit is sold without Eyesaline. The Fend-All Pure Flow 1000 Replacement Cartridges are available as a separate item. 7 gallon capacity offers 15 minutes flush time at 0.4 gpm. Shipping dimensions 30 in. W x 30 in. L x 23 in.

We have this station, but in the summer when it's hot in the shop, the water cartridges break due to heat. Is there an alternative to this unit that will hold up to heat?1 answer
OSHA regulations require the water in the eyewash stations to be tepid - between about 80 and 95 degrees. Creating a shaded awning for the eyewash station may help reduce the temperature of the water in the cartridges.
As an alternative the Fendall 2000 has better insulation and may provide more protection from the heat of your shop. However none of the Sperian/Honeywell eyewash stations, or any stations we know of, have enough insulation to maintain proper water temperature in extreme heat situations.
