The Knock-Down Disposable Roof Anchor from Protecta is intended to provide a secure tie off point for your lifeline/rope grab during construction or installation of a residential roof. While it provides durable and tough performance, the zinc plated steel is not supposed to be left exposed at the end of the job. Simply pound it over with a hammer and place shingles over the top.

The Knock-Down disposable roof anchor is a simple solution for residential and light commercial construction. This anchor can have significant impact on jobsite safety while reducing injuries and costly insurance company claims. The unique design provides workers with a fall protection anchor during initial construction, and can simply be "knocked-down" and shingled over when the job is complete. The roof anchor is quickly installed by first bending the anchor into shape and conforming it to the roof pitch. Then, simply nail it into place through sheathing and truss on the roof or peak using ten 16d nails. Refer to the user instruction manual for detailed and complete installation details.
