Tension on the lifeline keeps it out of your way, which helps to reduce trip falls. The 6 ft. lifeline retracts into a thermoplastic housing, and locks quickly if there's a fall, usually within 24 inches. Nano-Lok SRLs also have an industry-leading weight capacity of 420 lbs., the highest on the market.
A self-retracting lanyard such as the Nano-Lok 3101210 affords the user greater protection at low heights. Because fall distances are shorter, self-rescue is a much greater possibility. Traditional shock-absorbing lanyards require 18 ft. of fall clearance, so the Nano-Lok is a major improvement in fall protection.
No SRL on the market is safer. Nano-Loks meet or exceed the following standards: OSHA 1926.502, 1910.66; ANSI Z359-2007 & A10.32.

Will this unit lock on a vertical shock....i.e. connected to the floor of a man lift basket and the operator gets ejected upward or goes over the rail system which is above the unit by 36+ inches?1 answer
The manufacturer says this application works fine with the 3101210 Nano-Lok. Just make sure to use an appropriate connector, and keep the shock pack end of the unit attached to the worker instead of the bucket anchor.<br>
DBI-SALA also makes a specific SRL for bucket trucks and aerial lifts. Consider the Nano-Lok Arc Flash SRL for Bucket Truck/Aerial Lift 3101375 if the workers are dealing with electrical applications.
