      It is recommended to bump test the monitor before going out to the field with the item, thank you.

    I am interested in purchasing this MSG Simple. Does it come with a battery charger and a certificate of calibration?

      The simples don't require charging, so it does not come with a charger. And, it comes with a certificate of calibration.

    Does this unit require to be bump tested?

      Bump tests are recommended, not required.
      That being said, bump tests are a good way of checking on the state of your monitor. It is "recommended" that you bump test before the monitor goes out into the field.
