To use these disposable ear plugs, simply roll them between your fingers into a slim shape. Then, while gently pulling up on your ear, insert the plug with the other hand. Give it a few seconds, and the sound should just go away. The non-irritating, non-allergenic self-adjusting polyurethane foam recovers to fit virtually any ear canal. Please use clean hands when doing this.
Max Lite is also ideal for that portion of the population with smaller ear canals. NRR-30 attenuation rating tested in accordance with ANSI S3.19-1974. Green color, packed in poly bags.

The Howard Leight LPF1 disposable ear plugs are made of polyurethane foam, and are latex free. Also, I have found these to be the most comfortable of the foam plugs we carry.
Do these ear plugs protect against 30 decibels? I really didn't understand what the description said. I'm having a lot of problems with live music, kids screaming, clapping, whistling and construction work.1 answer
These earplugs have an NRR of 30 which will really quieten all the noises you mentioned. I can tell you from personal experience you can barely hear screaming kids with these in.
