A single-gas monitor for ammonia (NH3), the Draeger Pac 7000 displays constant gas level readings from 0-300 ppm and is a lifetime monitor with no fixed lifespan. An easily changed battery and sensor in the Pac series of gas monitors serves to lower the long-term cost of ownership.

Pac 7000 Monitors are easy to calibrate and configure. Intuitive two-button interfacing provides access to all bump test, sensitivity calibration, and fresh air calibration cycles. Data-logged information is accessed by using the Draeger Communication Module.

The Pac 7000 NH3 Monitor is rated IP 65 for water and dirt resistance. The 7000 series monitors are both durable and long-lasting. Electromagnetic resistance has been optimized in the design to produce a device manufactured for unlimited lifetime usage.

    Could this be used to measure the ammonia gas released from chicken litter?

      Yes, the monitor has a PPM display and will tell you the concentration of Ammonia right on the screen, it’s a simple as reading a digital watch.

      The PAC 7000 monitors do have adjustable alarm points. However, this does require the Draeger CCVision software (free download) and Draeger Pac Detector Communication Module 8318587 adapter.

      The Draeger Pac 7000 gas detectors have a temperature range of -30 – 50 degrees Celsius; -20 – 120 degrees Fahrenheit. This includes the NH3 (Ammonia) sensor you mentioned.

    Does this monitor come with a manufacturer's calibration certificate? What is the Drager recommended periodic calibration point?

      The monitors come factory calibrated with a calibration certificate. Draeger's recommended calibration point is 6 months.
