About the Job:

In this role, you will:

  • Generate, post and mail invoices each morning
  • Accurately reconcile credit card payments received from our online stores on a daily basis
  • Research and follow up with credit card payment discrepancies
  • Handle collections on past due accounts
  • Generate and mail statements
  • Match vendor packing lists to vendor invoices and research any discrepancies with the vendor
  • Create vendor direct fulfillments and generate the corresponding customer invoices
  • Accurately enter all vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies by working with the vendor directly or our purchasing manager
  • Process checks received in the mail, resolve any discrepancies, and take the deposit to the bank daily
  • Provide W-9s and other forms to customers when requested
  • Provide courteous customer service to our customers when they contact us about invoices or other accounting issues
  • Order office supplies
  • File sales orders, vendor invoices, vendor payment vouchers, daily credit card reconciliation and household bills
  • Other general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
  • Quick learner that is extremely detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple details to precise completion especially with data entry duties
  • Flexible and open to change in processes, priorities, and responsibilities as our business evolves
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to quickly build trust and rapport in business relationships
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and follow-up skills
Nice to Have, But Not Required:
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus
  • CMS (Netsuite) experience
