The DBI/Sala Vertical Net Debris Containment System is a barrier mesh used on an open floor construction area in high-rise buildings. Used as a guardrail and toe board system, the net is hung at the edge of the open floor to keep debris and tools falling on the public below. The top edge is attached to a standard safety cable (not included) using clips provided. The bottom edge is attached with tie-down plates secured with powder actuated nails.
Both the clips and tie-down plates are reusable, as is the mesh itself. This makes for an economical system that is quick to install and offers many advantages over a standard toe board system.
The net is sold in 2 different sized sections with hardware included. The hardware includes 55 EZ Clips and 22 Tie Down Plates.
The vertical net is made of polyethylene mesh with 1/8 in. openings to contain even small debris, and is bright orange in color. If properly installed system meets requirements of OSHA 1926.500 and 1926.502 Subpart M. The system also meets requirements specified by NFPA 701.
