3M FT-11 Sweet Sensitivity Solution - Saccharine

3M FT-11 Replacement saccharin sensitivity solution for the 3M FT-10 fit test kit.

This 3M FT-11 Sweet Sensitivity Solution is used during a respirator fit test, as part of OSHA requirements for dust masks (such as the N95 mask), half mask respirators, or full face respirators.

This FT 11 is a sweet solution comprised of sodium saccharin and is used to check the face to respirator seal on any mask.

Sensitivity solution is used to ensure the test subject can detect the presence of the sweet flavor at low levels prior to performing the actual fit test. If the subject can’t detect this then the FT-31 bitter test solution should be used.

Confined space, oilrig and refinery workers should all be fit tested with any new equipment, prior to commencing work, to ensure they are adequately protected from potentially harmful particles and gases.

The FT-11 sweet solution comes in one 55ml bottle to act as a replacement should you run out or taint the original bottle supplied as part of the 3M Fit Testing Kit.
