This particular Exofit XP Rescue Harness offers a new level of body support for the rope access/rescue professional. It incorporates a unique blend of fall arrest, positioning, suspension and rescue attachment points. Now, our most versatile and comfortable harness features the essential components for rigging and rescue. Many rescue harnesses on the market are built by simply attaching shoulder straps to a mountaineering harness without recognizing the importance of fall arrest. DBI-SALA’s engineers have created a hybrid for those who want both all-day comfort and safety while suspended at height or moving from one location to another.
Whether performing rope rescue off an I-beam on a construction site or rigging in the ceiling of an arena, professionals demand a comfortable harness that will help them get the job done right. The Exofit XP Rescue Harness incorporates both chest and waist D-ring attachment points that are ideal for suspension or for use with a rescue descender if required. An ergonomic hip pad and body belt with side D-rings provide added comfort and back support during rigorous work positioning activities. Unlike most other rescue harnesses on the market, DBI-SALA’s Exofit XP uses a sub-pelvic strap to channel the energy of a fall throughout the body greatly reducing the chance of injury. Finally, the Exofit XP provides the ultimate in wrap around comfort with removable shoulder, leg and back padding and soft edging to help prevent rubbing and chaffing.
