3M 8212 N95 Welding Particulate Respirator

The 8212 from 3M is designed for welding, torch cutting, soldering, brazing and working with molten metals, and has an N95 rating. It fits easily under the welding faceshield. The Cool Flow™ Exhalation Valve and the cake-resistant filter provide cool, easy breathing. Two adjustable elastic straps combine with the face seal to create a secure, snug fit.

This mask compares to the now discontinued 3M 9920. A more direct cross would be the 3M 8512, but that mask does not have the full sealing flange that the 8212 has. We like this mask better for that reason, since we are using this respirator against fairly toxic challenges.
