The Memphis Knit Sleeve will not melt, ignite, or conduct electricity. It features a stretch fabric with a thumb slot. It's meant to be worn in conjunction with cut resistant gloves, or may be worn alone. Because Kevlar won't burn or char up to 200 deg F, these sleeves are great for working around hot steam, exhaust pipes, or other incidental contact that might burn the forearm.

Prepare Yourself Review by Zombie Survivalist
When those zombies come for you let them sink their teeth into these babies, not your skin beneath.
You have to ask how many people would still be breathing on the Walking Dead if they thought ahead and had these on! (Posted on 2/16/2015)
Kevlar Sleeve Protector Review by Yote
I walk our neighbor's dogs, one of which is a young puppy that likes to claw with her front feet. This has result in numerous scratches and small injuries to my wrists and the backs of my hands. I take blood thinners so that I bleed profusely from even a scratch. Since I have started using these sleeve protectors, I have not had a single scratch from this hyper-active puppy.
Great protection! (Posted on 1/26/2015)
Save my skin Review by Ken
Great product, I use these sleeves in my wood and metal work shop to protect my skin from scraping and burning. I am on lots of medication that causes me to scratch and bleed easily so it saves bloody work cleanup and I don't need so many bandages...Love them Ken (Posted on 8/22/2014)
Save your arms - buy these sleeves Review by Cornbread lover
After getting a severe, debilitating rash on arms due to chemicals used in tire building, protection was needed. With thumb hole, sleeve stays in place, protects arms, and is washable, durable. Rash is gone, and sleeves are worn every day. Lightweight, Durable.

Kevlar 9378T Knit Sleeve Review by Donna Schildt
MY husband loves this sleeve because it protects his arms. He use to come home with cuts and scratches on his arms almost daily. I wish the knit end of the hand section of the sleeve didn't stretch so much. It gets caught on things and after a few wearings it is stretched to much.
They protect my husbands arms from cuts and scratches.
The part of the sleeve that circles the hand stretches out of shape and can get caught on items. I have to sew bias tape arround each sleeve at the hand end to prevent this problem.

- The MCR 9378 Kevlar sleeves do have some flame resistance. This is a knit sleeve, so they are not a complete barrier by any means. We find their best use to be in keeping your arms from being burned when contacting hot surfaces. If you think of working around a hot exhaust pipe, and having your forearm in contact, the burn is no fun. These are great for that application.
