The model 5050 Ergokneel mat from Working Concepts is made of heavy, resilient, closed-cell foam rubber, not hard plastic. Ergonomic mat will not compression set or absorb liquids. They are impervious to petroleum products and are self-extinguishing. Great for severe kneeling conditions on cold hard steel, concrete, grating and gravel surfaces.

Made of 1" rubber, the ErgoKneel is a resilient and durable mat. Easy to clean, due to its closed-cell rubber nature (not plastic, like some kneeling mats), you can use soap, power wash or even use some harsher solvents if needed. The ErgoKneel comfort mat is designed for industrial use and incredibly tough!

Large ErgoKneel Kneeling Mat

A terrific product. I've been using ErgoKneel kneeling mats for years and no longer have bursitis flare-ups in my knees. I've told others about this superior product. I use my ErgoKneel mats constantly with my work. I truly can't say enough good things about my ErgoKneelers!! No other kneeling mat comes close!

Pros:

Everything! Thick, comfortable, easy to transport & store, water resistant. It's the quintessential kneeling mat! Period!

Cons:

Nothing! It's perfect!

Awesome especially for anyone with bad knees

I had a friend who let me try his and I wanted one. Now that I have my own I am even more impressed. This is way beyond the usual pads you see in the big box stores, I know as I have three of them. Both of my knees have been scoped twice, yet I can kneel for extended periods using this pad.

Pros:

Exceptionally comfortable over long periods.
Cleans up very easily

Not a thing!

Best work mat ever!

These are the greatest! A few Summers ago I put in a brick patio with strap on knee pads and It was very inconvenient to keep putting them on and off, so I worked without them. I injured my right knee (tore something inside it) and was hobbling for months afterward. Luckily it finally healed, and have used these ever since.
This large one is a nice size because you can move around on it a little while working. Don't worry about the cost, just get it!

Thick enough for extra support, and the finish is waterproof. You can wash it off and still use it right away.

I spend a good majority of my day working on my knees in the cockpit of helicopters. I have tried knee pads before and didn't really like the overall comfort/convience. We'd use packing foam or tool box shadowing foam to kneel on but since it really isn't "mine" they'd get picked up by somone else needing them. The Ergokneel mat is much more comfortable to kneel on, and it is mine so no one can pick it up for themselves. So far its been three weeks of heavy use, and no signs of future durability issues. Others in the hangar have tried it and said they'll be purchasing their own soon.

Reduces Knee injuries in the workplace

We started using the large ErgoKneel mats a couple years ago. We had been experiencing knee injuries in our workforce because of the kneeling they were required to do on grating or across piping. Since the ErgoKneel mats have been used, we haven't had one knee related injury! Our employees love them. We have had to purchase more matsfrom time to time, as other workers like them too and the mats seem to grow legs. No matter though...Our employees swear by them.

I've used it for work for several years now in electrical substations, taking fluid samples from electrical transformers. I have 2 at home in my garage for use around the house. By far the best kneeling mat I've ever used. There are facsimiles, but none as good as the genuine "ErgoKneel." Very good on your back, too.

Ordered this after I saw someone from PG&E using one and asked who made it. Total knee saver. It looks like it should be pretty durable but only time will tell. The stuff they sell at my local hardware store was worthless (half as thick, much less soft/durable compound, and dried/hardened over time).
