The 3M Cool Flow Exhalation Valve, a patented one-way valve offers easy exhalation for cool, dry comfort. An adjustable M-noseclip to helps provide a custom fit and secure seal. This mask has been a popular choice for protection against Avian flu, Bird flu, Tuberculosis / TB and SARS. Please note that the exhalation valve feature makes this mask only useful against these pathogens. For a person already infected, use a mask without the valve, as air passes out of the mask unfiltered through the exhaust valve.

A Dust Mask That Actually Works

These are great masks. I do residential remodeling, and often deal with plaster/drywall dust, sawdust, fiberglass, etc. The masks are durable and I get several usages out of one before tossing it. I have a beard that I keep trimmed short (about 1/4") and the masks seal great over it. I buy 2 cases at a time and keep them in the truck.
