Protecta AE57610 FIRST Shock Absorbing Lanyard

Note - This item is being replaced by the Protecta 1341001 Shock Absorbing Fall Protection Lanyard. Other than color, this new item is identical. As of August 31st, we had just over 30 on the shelf. Limited to stock on hand.

The Protecta AE57610 is a 6’ shock absorbing lanyard, made with 1-3/4” polyester webbing, and two AJ523A (.8” opening double-locking snaphooks.

The shock absorber is encased in a transparent UV-resistant plastic sleeve. The shock absorber is designed to absorb the energy of an impact load. The device will activate when a force of approximately 675 lbs. is applied, and will continue as long as the force of fall arrest meets or exceeds this value. The maximum extended length is 42”. If the unit becomes fully extended, a nylon strap incorporated into the device acts as a 100% back-up strap.
