Capital Safety FIRST 100% Tie-off Rebar Lanyard

The Protecta AE57620 Shock Absorbing “Y” Lanyard is designed to enable 100% tie-off. The lanyard consists of two 1-3/4” web leg sections with two AJ595A (2” capacity) double-locking snaphooks attached. The user attaches one leg to an anchor point and moves until an obstacle is encountered, secures the second leg to the other side of the obstacle, releases the first leg, and proceeds. The shock absorber will activate when a force of approximately 675 lbs. is applied, and will continue as long as the force of fall arrest meets or exceeds this value. Max. extended length is 42”. If the unit becomes fully extended, a polyester strap is incorporated into the device to act as a 100% back-up strap.
