RAE Systems External Filter 100/PK

The Water Trap Filter protects your RAE Systems gas monitor from water, dust and other particles that can damage vital functioning of your device. The filter is made of PTFE Teflon membrane with a 0.2 micron pore size to prevent water from being sucked into the sensor manifold of your RAE Systems gas monitor. It will also prevent dust and other particles from entering the monitor, thereby prolonging the operating life of the sensors.

To install the water trap filter, twist it tightly into the Luer connector on the inlet probe.

The Water Trap Filter will need to be replaced if it changes color, visibly traps dust or other particulates, or if water has been sucked in.

Some gases such as CL2, PH3, NH3, and HCN can be absorbed by the filter, so they should not be used when monitoring for those gases.
