RAE Systems EntryRAE Gas Detector

The EntryRAE provides superior, affordable protection from toxic industrial chemicals. The typical confined space entry monitor measures oxygen, combustibles, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen sulfide, while the EntryRAE adds detection of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as well. VOCs are commonly found in fuels, oils, degreasers, paints, plastics, and pesticides. A tank or vault that may test safe with a traditional confined space monitor could contain toxic levels other compounds. The EntryRAE offers the possibility of "seeing" this in advance.

The added protection of the EntryRAE is provided by a 10.6eV photoionization detector (PID) included in the monitor. The PID's ability to provide accurate, parts-per-million, "broadband" detection of a host of common, highly toxic and flammable compounds makes it a necessity in today's modern industrial environment.
