Stewart R. Browne Earth-Rite Plus

A static ground indicator system with “interlock” capabilities, the Earth-Rite PLUS from Stewart R. Browne provides a verification of static ground connections on a wide range of industrial plant equipment, including: road tankers, railcars, barges, drums, totes and other conductive equipment. A red/green light indicator confirms the condition of proper ground connection. Also, field installation and maintenance is simplified with its unique “Intrinsically Safe” field wiring set-up. The system meets the current NFPA 77 recommended practice on static electricity and is suitable for use in hazardous locations.

Fires and explosions can occur due to uncontrolled static discharge from plant equipment, people and materials. These commonly result in civilian injuries and even fatalities. The Cenelectrex series of static ground indicator systems with interlock provide optimum safety by incorporating control mechanisms to prevent the flow of hazardous materials. In addition to providing a visual indication of ground condition, the Earth-Rite Plus provides switch contact outputs which may be interlocked with motorized pumps, valves, process control or alarm systems.
