The Pac Detector Communication Module allows data to be loaded onto a PC for analysis and reporting.
Many of our oil and gas and confined space customers, who are at risk for hydrogen sulfide exposure, like this two-year disposable H2S detector because of the quality sensors. Draeger's famous XXS sensors are built into the monitor and provide you with readings with a resolution down to .1 ppm. The sensor is able to go the full two years of use without the need to calibrate.
The Pac 3500 is built to last, with an incredibly robust and impact-resistant housing. It's rubber-coated for added protection against drops and corrosive chemicals and it features a D-ring crocodile clip that's incredibly durable. Draeger Pac 3500 H2S Gas Detector Video Transcript
Hi this is Rick Pedley and welcome to PK Safety. Today we're gonna show you why many of our customers have turned to the Drager PAC 3500 single gas monitor for detecting harmful hydrogen sulfide gas. This detector is one of the most accurate and reliable monitors on the market today. It's perfect for a wide variety of job applications and will adhere to the toughest company policies and regulations. Drager is world famous for their excellent sensors.
00:28 The PAC 3500 uses miniature XXS sensors for long operating life and phenomenal detection capability. The monitor gives constant readouts of H2S from zero to one hundred parts per million with a resolution of .1 ppm. This gives the 3500 a significant advantage, because competing similar monitors do not provide a real time digital readout. Should you encounter dangerous levels of hydrogen sulfide, the detector sounds a 90 decibel alarm, flashes 360-degree LEDs, and vibrates noticeably.
01:01 If your workplace detection standards for H2S are stricter than OSHA, that's not a problem. The alert levels are fully adjustable. The PAC 3500 comes in either reflective silver, or highly visible yellow and is equipped with a load of extras that set it apart from the competition. The monitor is rubber coated for resistance to corrosive chemicals, durable in case it gets dropped, and features a backlit display.
01:23 Plus, it meets the requirements of IP 65, meaning it will operate even if it gets splashed with water. The PAC 3500 single gas H2S monitor is durable, easy to use, and above all provides unsurpassed gas detection. If you're looking for a superior H2S monitor that's trusted all over the world, the PAC 3500 might just be the right tool for you. Thanks for watching. If you have any questions about the PAC 3500, or any of the other Drager gas detection equipment we provide, please give us a call or visit our online store at PKSafety.com.

Draeger PAC 3500 Review Review by Pond Guy
We are using these meters while dredging out a small pond with H2S gas present in the sediments. The meter works well and do not have any complaints. (Posted on 4/10/2014)
Great monitor Review by Matt from Livermore
I first used this monitor on assignment in the Gulf. We were repairing a refinery and the contracting firm gave each one of us a Drager monitor. I had always used BW monitors before and never knew if they worked until they were in alarm mode and you were being exposed to high levels of H2S. This monitor shows H2S at low levels so you know you are getting near H2S and can take action before it is too late. I am working to get these to be standard issue at my new job and so far the guys really like them and think the extra cost is worth the added safety. (Posted on 4/2/2013)
