Capital Safety 8304000 Salalift II, SRL & Tripod Combination

Salalift/Sealed SRL & Tripod Combination 8304000 is a complete rescue system including tripod, Salalift II winch and back-up or secondary sealed self retracting lifeline. This system is DBI's best and most heavy duty, with long wearing components. Note: Retrieval Harness and Y-Lanyard are not included, and should be ordered separately. Tripod: 7 ft. aluminum tripod 8000000 is lightweight and portable, easily set-up by one worker (model 8000010 is 9 ft. tall). Adjustable locking legs are kept in position with locking push pins - adjusts from 5 ft. to 7 ft. height and will span a 5 ft. diameter hole. Complete with safety chain to prevent movement and safety shoes that incorporate a rubber sole for flat surfaces and spiked edges for slippery surfaces. Heat treated cast aluminum head incorporates a built-in pulley system to rout lifeline of mechanical device directly over opening. Also equipped with drop forged steel eyebolts for use as anchorage point for secondary or back-up system. Comes with quick-mount bracket for attachment of DBI/SALA mechanical device for ease of use. Additional (back-up) mechanical devices can be mounted to tripod with optional bracket/pulleys. Rated working load is 350 lbs. for work support and 310 lbs. for fall arrest, can withstand up to 5,000 lbs. of vertical pull. Durable corrosion resistant aluminum and heat treated cast aluminum construction. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) tested and classified. Meets or exceeds the strength requirements for anchorage's (5,000 lbs.), ANSI Z359.1, ANSI A10.14 and OSHA requirements. Weight 47 lbs

Salalift II Winch: Salalift winch 8102001 is designed for raising, lowering, work support or personnel rescue. Triple braking system including two independent centrifugal brakes and one dead-man type brake for added security. Two-speed input (primary 6.6:2, secondary 3.3:1) for versatility and ease-of-use. Durable corrosion resistant construction featuring a heat treated cast aluminum housing with steel gears contained in a sealed oil bath. Overload clutch (load limiting input handle) reduces chance of injury to an entangled worker. Winch features 60 ft of galvanized 1/4" steel cable and includes a carrying bag. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) tested and classified. Meets or exceeds all applicable industry standards including OSHA 1910.28 and 1926.451, OSHA 1910.146 and ANSI Z117.1. Weight 62 lbs.

Sealed Self Retracting Lifeline: Sealed self retracting lifeline with stainless steel and cast aluminum housing for corrosion resistance. 50 ft. 3/16" galvanized steel wire rope for durability (50, 85 and 130 ft. lengths in galvanized or stainless steel is available) Built in retrieval winch for raising/lowering load during emergencies with built-in shock absorbing capabilities (fall arrest capabilities in retrieval mode for added safety). Input crank handle incorporates brake which will prevent movement of the load if the operator accidentally released the handle during raising/lowering. Winch drive incorporates and overload device thus reducing the possibility of injury should the worker become entangled during retrieval. Environmentally sealed design for safety, even in harsh environments. Self adjusting disc brake for reliability. Reserve lifeline retention system for added safety. Self-locking swivel snap hook with impact indicator. Swiveling anchorage loop to prevent twisting of lifeline. Quick-mount bracket (model 3401065) enables user to attach to a DBI/SALA support structure with ease and includes carrying bag (model 9503515).
