DBI 8902004 Rollgliss R350 Rescue System

The Rollgliss Top R350 is a robust retrieval pulley system, designed for confined spaces and work at height (by the experts at DBI-SALA and Capital Safety). This personnel riding system is a sturdy piece of technical rescue and fall-protection equipment that doubles as a versatile retrieval hoist. The ability to change the mechanical advantage easily lets you configure the system to suit your on-site needs.

As standard the kit is pre-rigged for quick 'out of the bag' operation and site set-up when needed. Simply attach via the carabiner to an appropriate anchor point (tripod or hoist system) and you are ready to start.

The 3:1 mechanical advantage gives you a 50ft travel distance with the 200 foot rope that comes as standard (although different rope lengths are available). You also have the option of changing the pulley system ratio: DBI-SALA utilize a unique coupling system to attach various fixed deflection pulleys (which are sold separately), to give you a range from 2:1 up to 5:1.

The rope is static kernmantle, elongating as little as 2% under load, making for a secure and reliable system. The line is also resistant to knotting, water and chemicals and grit; making it a reliable rope to utilize on most any work site.

Coming in a handy and durable carrying bag the whole Rollgliss Top system has everything you need for a quick set up: a rope control device, pulleys, carabiners an anchorage sling and a securing strap are all included in the bag.

A rope retention device is included in the pulley system to prevent overlapping, twisting and other rope based awkwardness. The symmetrical build of the whole Rollgliss Top pulley system makes it simple to control in ascent and descent mode; an inspection window helps here too, as well as audible clicks that indicate you are in ascent mode.

Built to last, like all DBI-SALA gear, this pulley and retrieval-winch system is constructed from corrosion resistant aluminum and stainless steel. The slings are synthetic, polyester and nylon, making them strong and lightweight. The anchor hook itself even features a tubular steel sheath to protect the suspension mechanism from wear and tear.

The Top meets all relevant OSHA and ANSI standards for fall protection making the Rollgliss Top is a great piece of kit when rapid rescue and retrieval are needed.
