The Force2 Shockwave Wind Energy Lanyard from the fall safety experts at DBI/SALA is a secure fall arrest lanyard, designed for work at extreme heights, such as wind turbine construction or cell phone tower maintenance.

Designed to meet the most extreme of fall safety requirements this piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) is capable of taking a load of up to 140kg in weight and takes 3,600lbs of fall force in the gated hooks. Tech-Lite super strength aluminum is utilized in the D-rings to give an incredible strength to weight ratio.

Dual rated, the Force2 can arrest a fall up to 12’ in length and still remain within OSHA regulations (for a 310lb load), or arrest a fall up to 6’ at a full capacity of 420lbs. This flexibility is key for work sites where the only tie-off point is at your feet, meaning that falls tend to be further and so have larger forces.

A strong Nomex and Kevlar sheath protects the shock-absorber portion of the lanyard, meaning it is resistant to abrasion and the elements; something crucial to working on windy and coastal sites.
