The 1340161 Protecta PRO-Stretch features an internal stretch fabric the shortens up the length of the lanyard legs when not in use. Our customers find this a convenient and useful feature, especially at this price point.

Once the lanyard has been extended, it functions just like any other shock absorbing fall protection lanyard. In the event of a fall, fibers within the durable fabric tubing rip in a controlled fashion to reduce the impact force. Regulations say this force must be kept below 900 lb.
