The Side Entry System from UCL Safety (a Capital Safety brand) is a maneuverable arm for winch attachment and horizontal confined space access work. Making vertical positioning possible in tanks, or silos the system works with fall arrest gear to allow for personnel/equipment delivery and access. The arm attaches to a suitable anchor point giving you an adaptable entry point for a range of confined space hatches. A great tool for tank cleaning and purging as well as engineers.

The Side Entry System is designed to allow the arm and line to be angled inside the tank structure for safe entry and egress, allowing your team to get the job done quickly and safely.

OSHA rated, the system is built from strong aluminum and stainless steel parts. Capable of taking a load up to 450lbs (when used with a suitable anchor point such as the External Adjustable Tank Collar or a fixed mount point), the system is ideal for the transport and retrieval or personnel and equipment.

A simple mounting bracket allows attachment of a winch to give you a complete versatile work solution (We recommend the Salalift II from DBI/Sala or the Digital Winch also from Capital Safety).

The Side Entry System is zinc-powder coated to give it a long corrosion free life, and weighing only 66lbs and requiring minimal tools to set up, it is easy to get the entry system wherever you need it.
