The GasAlertMax XT II is a multi-gas monitor perfect for confined space, oil rig workers, sewer technicians, engineers, fire fighters, the military or anyone else who works in hazardous spaces, allowing you to detect and monitor toxic gas levels. Honeywell has gone all out on this portable gas sniffer with an internal pump, so you can be sure you and your team are safe and protected from dangerous or explosive fumes.
Sporting four gas sensors for detecting Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxygen (O2) and the lower explosive levels (LEL) of a variety of dangerously combustible/flammable and explosive gasses, The Gas Alert Max portable detector also features an internal pump for continuous sampling via a probe, or the option of using the passive diffusion mode. This option makes the Gas Alert Max XT II the most comprehensive in the GasAlert series from BW Technologies (the Quattro and MicroClip portable detectors are diffusion only).
The GasAlertMax XT II is a handheld gas detector which displays levels of all four gasses on its bright, backlit LCD screen (which also shows you battery levels and pump activity too). Allowing you to clearly monitor your environment no matter how dark and dingy your confined space of choice may be.
A selection of alerts and alarms keep the wearer aware of any dangerous levels as the gas analyzer constantly monitors the environment: Bright alarm LEDs, vibration options and a 95dB alarm ensure you get the message. The GasAlertMax XT II also has an optional confidence beep, which tells you the device in operating and fully functional.
Alerts for the GasAlertMax XT II are available for Short Term Exposure (STEL) limits (5-15 minutes), Long Term Exposure Limits (LTW; ~8hrs) as well as High/Low levels for each gas.
Designed to be solid and durable, the Gas Alert Max multi-gas detection unit has concussion-proof housing, as well as an IP66/67 rating for water-resistance. Meaning your unit should continue working well throughout its lifetime.

Each Gas Alert Max XT II unit comes individually packaged in a cardboard box that includes the 120V AC battery charger, operators manual, cd-rom owners manual, 5 each of spare moisture and particulate filters, metallic scintered particulate filter (for end of sampling hose) and 2 lengths of (1 36 inches long, 1 120 inches long) clear pvc tubing with connectors, double-ended screw driver (No. 1 Philips_5/64 hex Allen) and factory calibration certificate.
