The Gas Alert Clip Extreme detectors from BW Honeywell are an excellent source of protection. Continuously monitoring the environment and alerting you to any dangerous levels of the gas, via built-in warning systems: visual, audible and vibrating alerts.
Operating continually for the duration of its two year lifespan (three year life available on special request) these gas sniffers require practically zero upkeep, are self-testing and calibrating, and require no maintenance to sensors or charging or replacement of the batteries.
This is a diffusion monitor, meaning it tests the air it is in contact with and alerts the wearer when dangerous levels are reached. It is one of the most compact and easy-to-use monitors on the market.
The Gas Alert Clip Extreme does not, however, display current gas levels, and only goes into alarm when dangerous levels have been reached. If you need a monitor that constantly displays gas concentrations, consider the ToxiRAE series of single gas monitors.
A simple one-button interface on the Gas Alert Clip Extreme means training staff is a breeze. Interfacing with the MicroDock II system allows you to retrieve logged data from the unit easily.
These Gas Alert gas detectors are incredibly durable too. Featuring built in concussion protection as well as water-resistance, they are suitable for a range of working conditions.
Each unit is packed individually in a cardboard box, with instruction manual sheet, warranty card, calibration/bump test adapter and calibration certificate from the factory.
The CO GasAlertClip Extreme is compatible with the MicroDock II for quick and easy bump testing. Also compatible with the IR Data Link and Fleet Manager Software to retrieve data over use.

IT is easy to calibrate. Works well and has long shelf life.Pros:
Long shelf life, light weight so it is easy for our employees to place them on their hard hats, sturdy and easy to calibrate.I would recommend this item to a friend.
