Gas Alert Micro 5 IR Gas Detector

A multi gas detector for confined space workers the Micro5 is a versatile and powerful sniffer for the detection of Oxygen, Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide and the Lower Explosive Levels of combustible particles.

A well-rounded multi-gas detector for confined space work; the Micro 5 is part of the GasAlert range from BW Technologies.

Confined Space Sensors:

Oxygen (O2): Naturally an important gas, low O2 levels lead to suffocation and death.

Carbon Monoxide (CO): A toxic and dangerous gas that is colorless and odorless, high levels can cause fatigue and will eventually lead to death.

Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S): Flammable, toxic and an irritant. High levels can cause respiratory damage.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2): An IR sensor allows the highly specific and sensitive detection of Carbon Dioxide, offering you an extra level of specificity for your on the job checks of this potentially poisonous gas.

Lower Explosive Levels (LEL): Sampling a range of chemicals, the LEL measurement gives lets you know if the air becomes volatile and potentially dangerous.

A 95dB buzzer, three bright LED lights and a vibration alert are all available to let you know of any dangerous situations. These alarms are for low/high and short/long term exposure levels of each gas.

A motorized sample pump option offers the possibility of checking remote locations before entry and comes complete with a 1.5m hose.

Data logging: All data logged can be retrieved, archived and analyzed via the Fleet Manager II software.

A large, backlit LCD screen displays gas levels at all times, so you can easily check out your exposure levels in any confined spaces.

The simple interface can happily be operated while wearing gloves.

Lowering the need for arduous maintenance, the Micro 5 offers auto calibration as well as continuous circuit checking to alert you to any possible malfunctions should any arise.
