BW Honeywell Gas Alert Micro 5 Integral Pump Attachment

The Generation 2 pump for use with the BW Gas Alert Micro 5 monitor allows you to quickly switch the Gas Alert Micro 5 from a diffusion monitor to an integral pump monitor.

The Generation 2 pump for the Micro 5 gives you the ability to sample remote atmospheres before allowing workers into an area.

The pump attaches over the sensors and features an integrated filter with a clear window so you can visually inspect the filter for interference. Simply replace the sensor cover with the custom fitted pump piece and you are ready to start remote sampling.

The filter on the pump provides outstanding dust and water resistance for the Micro 5 and the unit is easy to install. It allows much greater flexibility in how you are able to use the Micro 5, and remote sampling can be an invaluable tool for keeping your team safe when working in confined spaces with potentially hazardous atmospheres.

The pump can pull air samples from up to 66 ft. away. This pump is for use with the Micro 5 monitor only, and can be added to a diffusion version without any firmware or hardware upgrades.

Keep in mind that the pump runs off the battery pack and will significantly reduce the amount of monitor run-time you get from a charge. At 68 degrees F. (20 C) the pump-equipped M5 will run about 69% of the time it would run in diffusion mode. If you get 15 hours in diffusion mode, you will only get 8-9 hours with this pump installed.
