3M FT-32 Bitter Fit Test Solution is used in the functional part of an OSHA fit test for dust masks and respirator equipment. This qualitative fit testing ensures worker safety when utilizing a dust mask or similar piece of personal protective equipment (such as an N95 mask for example).

As an integral part of the FT-30 Qualitative Fit Test from 3M the FT 32 is utilized with a nebulizer (FT-13) to check there is an appropriate face to respirator seal and that your protective breathing apparatus is fully functioning with each individual worker.

The fit test should be performed after an initial sensitivity test with the FT-31 bitter test solution.

Occupational Safety and Health Association guidelines require regular fit testing with new staff and equipment, so no matter where you work regular fit testing should be done to keep your work site up to spec and your workers safe.
