Ansell Hyflex 11-800 Video Transcript

Hi! This is Rick Pedley and welcome to PK Safety Supply.

Today we're going to be looking at the Ansell HyFlex Foam 11-800. Now this is our most popular HyFlex glove. It sells the most and this uses a knit liner with a nitrile foam coating. This coating a light gray in color and of course the knit lining is white. The foam is quite resistant to oils and some solvents, and what this does is allow you to get quite a grip. There's also a certain softness to this coating which also kind of grips onto things.

Now the liner is quite stretchy. This happens to be a size 8, the size I wear. So what you do is just kind of pull this on finger by finger, then pull it onto your hand. Now it fits quite well and gripping doesn't have a lot of effort involved. So we can grab onto things. This nitrile foam is going to be fairly resistant to abrasions, so it's going to last quite a while. The openness of this mesh here is going to allow your hands to breathe, so they don't allow your hands to get too hot, as do fully coated gloves. Really good for light assembly and, as I say, we sell a whole bunch of these things.

It's washable. You can launder it. You can't get real hot, but if you put it in a home laundry where it might be 105 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit, and this will double the life of your glove. If you think about it, these things are going to get dirty long before they wear out an so if we can take this, toss it in the laundry and get a second or maybe even a further use out of it, it's going to be a big help. That seems to be one of the things that has made this a very popular glove.

And there you go. Thanks a lot!
