I was very pleased with overall product. The LED flares are high visibility and you can choose from several different speeds/light flashes. I like the durability and the rechargeable kit it comes in, making it convenient to charge in between uses.Pros:

charging while in storage case a good idea

We have used the non-rechargeable version of these and we do like them, especially at night. We bought this rechargeable set to try them out and compare. We liked the idea of recharging the light while in the storage case. This was a big plus for convenience. However, the charging cord plugs into the storage case on the inside of the case and the cord is routed through a channel in the lid when the case is closed. The lid has to be opened in order to unplug the charge cord from the unit before it can be carried anywhere. It would be more convenient to plug it into the outside of the storage case so it can be quickly unplugged. I just know when it's dark and the guys are in a hurry they will forget to open the case to unplug the cord and will walk from the truck with it still plugged in. This is going to either break the charge cord or yank the case out of their hand and there will be LED flares rolling about all over the ground. If the plug-in was outside the case, it would just get pulled out of the receptacle as they walked away with the case.Pros:

Cons:
- charge cord plugs into the interior of the storage case and lid has to be opened to unplug it.- charge LED turns red when charge complete, green/yellow while charging. This seems opposite to what is usual - that is, LED should be green to indicate charge complete, red to indicate charging (or flashing red would be better still to indicate charging).

I am a member of the Ohio Courtesy Patrol and these are very bright and people notice them. Work beyond all my expectations. I never have to worry about them catching fire in my vehicle like normal flares can and they will pay for themselves over and over again. I feel very safe on the roadways with these. The investment is worth it so buy these! They do not seem bright from videos, but try them out, they are very effective for almost any flare need. My biggest pro is they can last for hours unlike a single normal flare. I have no cons at this point so far.Pros:
