ACD Advanced Calibration Design
| ACD specializes in the manufacture of hand held electrochemical gas generators that produce corrosive type calibration gases. This technology offers tremendous advantages over traditional compressed gas calibration cylinders. Because the gas is generated electrochemically as needed, not stored until used, the accuracy of ACD instruments do not degrade over time. These instruments are safe to ship, use, store and dispose of. They save our customers time and money. Current gas offerings include Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Hydrogen, Hydrogen Sulfide and Hydrogen Cyanide. Please note that these are for the most part reactive gases, making them unstable when stored in cylinders, resulting in a relatively short shelf life. ACD alleviates this problem by generating the gas on demand. With the MiniBump, this capability is extended to so-called "bump testing" of instruments.
