The DBI-SALA 100% Tie-Off Lanyards are designed to keep you hooked up when moving around. Rather than having to unhook yourself from the anchor point when shifting positions, the 100% tie-off hooks feature lets you make a new connection before removing the first one. Applications include iron workers tying rebar in a new concrete wall assembly and tower climbing.
Most of the designs shown have a single shock absorbing pack at the narrow end of the 'Y', while others such as the ShockWave 2 have the shock absorbing feature built in to each leg. There probably isn't a great difference in performance, but we have noted that some of our customers have a preference for the ShockWave 2 design. Another great feature is the elastic take-up feature built in to the ShockWave 2. This effectively shortens up the length when the lanyard is in the relaxed position, which helps keep extra webbing from getting in your way.
